4. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

In Short: Yes. Every one of them is named in our Cookie Policy, which is generated from the list our code enforces, and you can turn off everything beyond the strictly necessary.

We use cookies and similar browser storage in four categories:

• Strictly necessary — signing in, security, and remembering the cookie choices you make. These cannot be turned off. Set by us, and by Keycloak and Google while you sign in. Retained from 15 minutes to 12 months depending on the cookie.
• Functional — your appearance preference, what you entered on the Get Started form, which property manager referred you, and how you arranged the admin tables. Set by us. Retained up to 90 days, or until you clear them.
• Analytics and session replay — which pages are used and which features are ignored, plus a recording of how a visit moved through the site so we can see where people get stuck. Everything you type is masked in your browser before the recording is sent, on every page. On any page that shows your own information — your account, your offer, your referral, your email preferences — the on-screen text is masked as well, so those replays show layout and interaction rather than content. On our public pages, which show the same thing to everyone, the text is recorded as it appears. Provided by PostHog, served through our own domain. Retained up to 12 months.
• Embedded media — the YouTube player, which sets its own cookies if you press play. Off unless you turn it on.

5. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?

In Short: You can sign in with a Google account. We receive your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing else.

Sign-in is handled by Keycloak, our identity provider, which offers Google as a login option. Where you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information Google shares — typically your name, email address and profile picture — and use it only to create and identify your account. We do not offer Facebook, X or any other social login, and we do not post anything on your behalf.

6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.

7. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK AND GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL

Global Privacy Control (GPC): we honour it. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt out of analytics and of any sale or sharing of personal information. It takes effect before you interact with anything on the page, applies wherever you are rather than only in the states that require it, and we record that we acted on it. You will see a notice confirming that analytics was switched off for you.

Do Not Track (DNT): we do not act on it. No uniform standard for interpreting DNT was ever finalised, and different browsers mean different things by it. Rather than guess, we ignore it and honour GPC — which does have an agreed meaning — alongside the choices you make directly in our Cookie Policy.

How to exercise the opt-out right:

We do not serve targeted advertising and we do not sell personal information. To opt out of analytics and of any sharing that could be treated as a sale under state law, use the cookie settings on our Cookie Policy page, or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. The change takes effect immediately and deletes what had already been stored. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser has the same effect without your having to ask.
