Cookie Policy

Last Updated: August 22, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Ryse Global Technologies Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit https://www.rysemarket.com ("Website"). It explains what those technologies are, why we use them, and how you control them.

The tables below are generated from the same list our code enforces. If something is not in them, we do not set it.

Change your mind at any time

Your choices are stored in your browser and can be changed whenever you like. Turning a category off deletes what it had already stored — it does not merely stop us adding more.

This is also the mechanism for exercising the right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling described in our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies we set are "first-party" cookies. Cookies set by someone else whose content appears on our site — an embedded video player, for example — are "third-party" cookies, and the party that sets one can recognise your browser on other sites too.

Two similar technologies are covered by the same choices and listed in the same tables: local storage and session storage. They hold data in your browser like a cookie, but are not sent to a server with every request.

Do we record your session?

If you allow analytics, yes — we record how a visit moves through the site, so we can see where people get stuck. Masking happens in your browser, before anything is sent: everything you type is replaced on every page, and on any page that shows your own information — your account, your offer, your referral, your email preferences — the on-screen text is replaced as well, so what we can watch back there is layout and interaction rather than content. On our public pages, which show the same thing to everyone, the text is recorded as it appears. Turn analytics off in the cookie settings above and no recording is made at all.

Do we serve targeted advertising?

No. We run no advertising, we operate no advertising pixels, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. The only third-party embed that sets a marketing cookie is the YouTube video player, which uses youtube-nocookie.com and does not load at all until you press play.

Where your choices come from

If you are in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland or Brazil, nothing beyond the strictly necessary is stored until you choose. Elsewhere — including the United States — functional and analytics cookies are on by default and you can turn them off at any time from the button above. Marketing is never on by default anywhere.

We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends one, analytics and marketing are switched off before you arrive and we record that we did so. We do not act on the older Do Not Track header, which has no agreed meaning.

What we set

Strictly necessary (always active)

Needed for the site to work at all — signing in, security, and remembering the cookie choice you make here. These cannot be turned off.

NameTypeSet byRetainedWhat it is for
__Secure-next-auth.session-token*CookieRyse7 daysKeeps you signed in to the Ryse admin dashboard. Readable only by our servers, never by scripts in your browser.

__ph_opt_in_out_*Local storagePostHoguntil clearedRemembers that you turned analytics off, so it stays off.

Functional

Remembers things you have told us: your appearance preference, what you typed on the Get Started form, and which property manager referred you.

NameTypeSet byRetainedWhat it is for
ryse_refCookieRyse90 daysRemembers which property manager referred you, so their referral bonus is credited correctly when you sign up.
ryse_ref_emailCookieRyse90 daysRemembers the email address your referral link was opened with, so the credit still lands correctly if you change it later on the sign-up form.
ryse_getstarted_dataCookieRyse12 hoursCarries what you entered on the Get Started form across to the sign-up screens, so you do not type it twice.
themeLocal storageRyseuntil clearedRemembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance.
ryse.app.*Local storageRyseuntil clearedRemembers small choices you have made as you go — which narration voice you picked, how far you are through a survey, which tab you had open.
ryse.app.*Session storageRysesessionThe same small choices, for the ones that should not outlive this browser tab.
ryse.admin.*Local storageRyseuntil clearedRemembers how you arranged the admin tables and record pages — which columns and fields are visible, their order, how they are sorted, and which sections you left collapsed.
Google Maps / Places session cookiesThird-party cookieGooglevariesAddress autocomplete inside the admin dashboard. Not present on public pages.

Analytics

Tells us which pages get used and which get ignored, and records how a visit moved through the site so we can see where people get stuck. Everything you type is masked before it leaves your browser, and on any page showing your own information the on-screen text is masked as well. Never sold, and never used to advertise to you.

NameTypeSet byRetainedWhat it is for
ryse_ref_vidCookieRyse90 daysA random number that lets us tell one person opening a referral link twice from two different people opening it once. It is not derived from anything about you and identifies nobody on its own.
ph_*CookiePostHog12 monthsProduct analytics and session replay: which pages are visited, which features are used, and a recording of how a visit moved through the site. What you type is masked before leaving your browser on every page, and on any page that shows your own information the on-screen text is masked as well.
ph_*Local storagePostHoguntil clearedProduct analytics state, stored alongside the analytics cookie above.
ph_*Session storagePostHogsessionProduct analytics: scopes a visit to this browser tab. Cleared when you close it.

Embedded media

Video players and similar embeds that set their own cookies when you play them. Off unless you turn them on.

NameTypeSet byRetainedWhat it is for
VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC, and relatedThird-party cookieYouTube (Google)up to 8 monthsSet by YouTube if you choose to play an embedded video. We use youtube-nocookie.com and do not load the player until you click.

An asterisk marks a name prefix rather than an exact name — some vendors append a project identifier, and some of our own keys are built per table.

Controlling cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser directly. Doing so may stop parts of this site working — signing in, in particular.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we set changes. Because the tables are generated from the list our code enforces, they cannot fall out of date while the site keeps running. If we add anything new beyond the strictly necessary, your previous choices stop applying and we ask you again.
